Support Worker
Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS NZ) is a trusted not-for-profit provider of home and community services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care across New Zealand. We are now expanding our wings in Tauranga and looking for dedicated caregivers to join our team.
What's the role? You will assist our clients in their homes and community and follow a care plan that includes following responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation.
- Shopping and Community outings.
- Medication prompting.
- Personal Cares (showering, toileting etc).
- Home management.
- Wellness Checks.
How will we support you?
- Comprehensive orientation and training.
- Uniforms, personal protective equipment, and a mobile phone with live roster and communication tools.
- Daily support from our customer service team, available from 7am to 7pm to assist with any needs or inquiries.
- You will earn between $23.38 - $29.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualification.
- Earn while you learn with the free training towards NZQA Health & Wellbeing.
- Employee Assistance programme service anytime you need health and wellbeing support.
What are we looking for?
- Caring and Empathetic – a desire to help and support others.
- Previous healthcare or care-giving experience is desirable.
- Healthcare qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum of restricted New Zealand Driver's Licence and your own vehicle.
- Eligibility to legally live and work in NZ
You must possess the right to work in New Zealand and a willingness to undergo police vetting in order to be considered for this position.
