Royal District Nursing Services (RDNS NZ) is a trusted not-for-profit provider of home and community services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care across New Zealand.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Child Well-being team in Auckland. 

This role is crucial in providing high-quality clinical care and ensuring the wellbeing of children under our care, in line with RDNS NZ’s values and standards. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, client-centred care to Tamariki with special needs, including regular assessments and development of tailored support plans. 
  • Provide leadership and clinical oversight to support workers, ensuring adherence to health & safety protocols. 
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners such as Oranga Tamariki, allied health professionals, and whānau. 
  • Promote cultural safety, incorporating tikanga practices and adhering to Te Tiriti O Waitangi principles. 
  • Identify opportunities for quality improvement and participate in training and development. 

What We Are Looking For

  • A Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate with the Nursing Council of NZ. 
  • Experience in paediatric Nursing or disability support. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with Tamariki, whānau, and stakeholders. 
  • Commitment to delivering culturally safe care and continuous professional development. 
  • Effective problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
